 ecoprofile

  • Proprietary dual-chamber design
  • Removes 90% of chlorine
  • Removes 98% of metals
  • Purifies up to 40,000 gallons of water
  • Removes scale causing minerals
  • Works with city or well water; hard or soft
  • Easily connects to garden hose

The ecoone® advanced HOSE filter is a proprietary design that combines granular activated carbon (GAC) and a reduction/oxidation media that is classified by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as a bacteriostic. The combined media reduces or eliminates the following contaminants:
Heavy Metals: mercury, lead, iron, copper, cadmium, barium, chromium VI, chromium III, selenium.

Other Contaminants: chlorine and its byproducts (TMS), volatile organic containments (VOCs), hydrogen sulfide ("rotten egg" smell), fluoride, nitrate, arsenic, endrin, lindane, methoxychlor, toxaphene, silvex.

ecoone® advanced HOSE filter instructions:

Flush garden hose before use to remove sediment and contaminants. Attach filter to hose and flush for one minute until water runs clear. Can be used effectively at either end of the garden hose. Can be used with a sprayer attachment or sprinkler with barely noticeable reduction in flow rate. Save end caps for storage as filter must be stored wet. Do not allow filter to dry out as the media will harden and the filter will become ineffective. If end caps are lost, store wet filter in a plastic baggy in refrigerator.

The ecoone® advanced HOSE filter works best with a flow rate of 2 GPM or less. For highly contaminated water, reduce flow rate to 1 GPM. If flow rate slows, back-flush filter to remove sediment build up. If it's not possible to back-flush, place female end in a bucket of clean water and shake to loosen blockage from media.

Test ecoone® advanced HOSE filter for exhaustion: attach the unit to a source of chlorinated water and test the output with a chlorine test strip. Chlorine level should read at or near zero. Your HOSE filter will last to 40,000 gallons of water, depending on care, use and initial water contamination.
